Downtown Strategic Plan Update


Project Overview
The Downtown Strategic Plan Update is a collaborative effort between the City of Phoenix and various community stakeholders to update and build upon the Downtown Phoenix: A Strategic Vision and Blueprint for the Future plan originally adopted in 2004. This update will align the plan with the 2025 Phoenix General Plan and other policies guiding growth and development within the downtown area.

Objective
• Refine the structure, vision, goals, and strategies of the Downtown Phoenix: A Strategic Vision and Blueprint for the Future plan to align with the 2025 General Plan and new/updated policy plans within the City and downtown area.
• Celebrate the plan’s accomplishments and establish goals to guide future planning and development efforts.
• Position downtown and the surrounding communities for future investment.
