Residential Building

Residential development includes single-family homes, duplex, and townhome projects.

Construction permits are required for:

  • New homes
  • Remodels or additions, such as:
    • Garage/carport construction or conversion
    • Porch enclosures
    • Demolition
    • Patio covers
    • Fences/walls
    • Other construction projects

Appointments - Residential Plan Review

Appointments are available for:

  • Standard plans for single-family residences, duplex buildings, or townhomes
    • Up to 10 standard plans or revisions per builder, per week
    • Up to 20 submittals per weekly appointment
  • Special projects assigned to a specific PDD Team Leader (requires approval)
  • Other projects as determined by Residential Supervisors
