The Instrumentation & Control Specialist performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of all types of electronic instruments, and automatic process control equipment used in a water/wastewater treatment system. This includes ultrasonic metering devices, remote terminal units, laboratory analytical equipment, and a wide variety of electronic measuring instruments. Additionally, this position evaluates the utility and condition of electronic systems and equipment such as alarms, life safety networks, building automation and carbon monoxide measuring and alert systems, checks equipment including test instruments for preventative maintenance and to ensure compliance with FCC requirements, and instructs and provides on-the-job training on instrumentation maintenance for employee staff and operations and maintenance technicians.

The Water Services Department is seeking a Water Services Project Coordinator. The Water Services Project Coordinator is assigned to the Environmental & Safety Division (ESD) of the City of Phoenix Water Services Department (WSD). The position will report to the Environmental Programs Manager for the ESD Compliance Section and has the responsibility to supervise the Air Quality and Hazardous Materials Management Section. The position oversees environmental regulatory compliance activities of the WSD operations related to the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
