Curbside Pickup Cost

For a curbside pickup of up to five (5) appliances, a charge of $30.00 will appear on your city services bill for the next billing cycle. A pick-up for more than five (5) appliances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

All residents will be charged $25.00* per item. The fee will appear on the city services bill for the next billing cycle.

*A cancellation fee will be charged to the resident if a scheduled pick-up is not canceled prior to the confirmed day.

Example billing:

  • If you have two refrigerators for pickup, it will cost $50.
  • If you have one stove, one dryer, and one refrigerator, it will cost $55 -- $30 for the stove and dryer, plus $25 for the refrigerator.

Residents will be charged $30.00 for up to two (2) CRT devices. The fee will appear on the city services bill for the next billing cycle.

  • A maximum of two televisions, CRT or non-CRT, are allowed per pick-up. CRTs will not be accepted from any commercial or non-profit entities. If you have more than two televisions, you can bring them to one of our transfer stations.

What happens to recycled materials?

Materials will be direct hauled from a resident's home to a recycling facility (scrap metal dealer) or to another facility for proper removal of regulated materials, such as refrigerants. After removal of refrigerants, recyclable materials will be taken to a scrap metal dealer.

Any revenues from the sale of scrap materials will be deposited into the Solid Waste Fund and used to offset disposal and other collection costs.
