Please note on July 3, the entire park will be closed for event load-in until 6:00 p.m. event time on July 4.

There isn't a bad seat in the park. Please allow ample time for travel near, parking, arrival at the event site and entrance into the event.

Please review the parking and light rail information page, and be reminded that public parking is not available at the event site. Arrival prior to the event start time of 6 p.m. is not recommended as vendors and staff will be finalizing setup.

Are outside fireworks allowed?

No outside fireworks are allowed at Fabulous Phoenix 4th. Fireworks will not be sold on the premises.

Are there activities for kids?

PAC* Land (formerly Kids' World) is free and offers a great selection of rides, inflatables and activities for youth to enjoy.

*Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC)

What should I bring?

Lots of cold water! Though water will be available for purchase at the event, having an ample supply of water will help ensure that you stay hydrated. Also, it's suggested that you bring shade. Personal shade devices are allowed and encouraged, however, at sunset all standing shade devices must be lowered and safely put away.

Can I bring a cooler?

Yes. You also can bring backpacks, bags and other carry-ins. Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited. All carry-in items are subject to search by event security.

What items can I NOT bring?

Items you cannot bring include drones, alcohol, fold-out tables, personal fireworks, barbecue grills, glass bottles, pets (service animals are permitted), laser pointers, skateboards, inline skates and kites. Fishing is prohibited during the event.

Can I bring my dog or other animal?

Only certified service animals are allowed. The combination of a large crowd and the noise from the fireworks display can create an extremely stressful environment for animals.

Additional Reminders:

This is a NON-ALCOHOL event. Anyone found to be in possession of alcohol, or found to be intoxicated, will be reported to the Phoenix Police Department. Rideshare/taxi area is located on 2nd Street just south of Indian School Rd. The dog park will be closed July 1 to 5. All attendees and their carry-in items are subject to search.

On event day, call Crime Stop at 602-262-6151 for illegal parking complaints.

How do I get to the event?

There is no vehicle entrance and no public parking at the event.

There are three pedestrian entrances: Central Ave. and Glenrosa Ave., 3rd St. and Indian School Rd., and 7th St. just north of Turney Ave.

Strongly Recommended

Consider taking the Valley Metro Light Rail to avoid event traffic. Enhanced service will begin at approximately 5 p.m. on July 4.

Attendees are encouraged to load funds to the Valley Metro app or Copper Card to avoid long lines at fare machines after the event.

There are two stops near the event's Central Ave. pedestrian entrance; the Central/Campbell stop is just north of the Central Ave. event entrance; the Central/Indian School stop is just south of the Central Ave. event entrance.
