The City of Phoenix is set to host the official swearing-in ceremony for its newly elected mayor and city councilmembers on Monday, April 21. The event will take place at 10 a.m. at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix. Members of the public are invited to join the celebration.
Mayor Kate Gallego, along with Vice Mayor Ann O’Brien, Councilwoman Debra Stark, Councilwoman Betty Guardado, and Councilwoman Anna Hernandez, will take their Oaths of Office during the ceremony.
Following the swearing-in, each official is expected to deliver brief remarks as they begin their new terms in office.
