2030 Food Action Plan Public Input
The City of Phoenix wants to hear from you on its 2030 Food Action Plan.
The Office of Environmental programs is taking public comment and asking residents to participate in a survey about how the city can increase access to healthy, affordable and culturally relevant food for all residents.
The community-driven plan focuses on 10 priority areas selected through a 10-month outreach process and calls for actions that increase access to healthy food, expand programs and partnerships, promote education, support health and continue to build a resilient local food system over the next five years.
The five-year plan builds upon the original 2025 Food Action Plan that was approved by City Council in March 2020, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 90% of the actions in this plan were completed.
The public comment period and survey are available through May 15, 2026, and the plan will go to City Council for approval in June 2026.
Read the draft and take the survey for the 2030 Food Action Plan.
