Phoenix Prepares to Host the 2026 U.S. Gymnastics Championships

Phoenix is gearing up for an unforgettable week this August as the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, and the USA Gymnastics National Congress & Trade Show make their highly anticipated debut in the heart of downtown August 6–9.

The event will bring thousands of athletes, coaches, families, fans, and industry professionals to Mortgage Matchup Center and the Phoenix Convention Center, energizing the city and shining a national spotlight on “Championship Valley.”

The Championships will feature the nation’s top artistic gymnasts, including Olympians, world champions, and rising stars competing for national titles and coveted spots on the U.S. National Team—all with sights set on the 2026 World Championships in Rotterdam and eventually the 2028 Olympics. Their performances will unfold at Mortgage Matchup Center, where competitions run across four days with both junior and senior men’s and women’s sessions.

Building on the success of major events such as the recent NCAA Women’s Final Four, WNBA All‑Star Weekend, the NCAA Men’s Final Four, and Super Bowl LVII, Phoenix continues to demonstrate its capacity to host large‑scale, high‑impact events.
