Shared Micromobility Program

People with scooters

Shared e-scooters and e-bikes — also known as micromobility — provide a sustainable and convenient way to get around Phoenix connecting people and places. These devices provide an alternative transportation option for short trips.

Micromobility Details

  • Park in designated areas
  • Keep at least five feet clear when parking to avoid blocking pedestrian traffic

  • Inside the Downtown Core: Riders must park their vehicle at one of the nearly 160 designated parking areas within the downtown core, defined by white posts with parking decals. The parking locations can be found within each operator's mobile app and by zooming in on the program boundary map.
  • Outside the Downtown Core: At the end of their ride, a rider must park by locking the vehicle (using the built-in smart lock) to a bicycle rack or other vertical element in the right-of-way.

  • Travel in the same direction as traffic
  • Obey all traffic laws
