The Phoenix Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program waiting list is currently closed. The City of Phoenix will provide notice through a wide variety of sources when it reopens to advertise the opportunity to join the waiting list.
The City of Phoenix HCV program provides housing for more than 7,000 households in Phoenix. When a family wishes to receive assistance, the family must submit an application when the waiting list lottery is open.
For current HCV participants, when searching for and selecting a unit in the private market, consider what will meet your and your family's needs. Look for available rental housing using a variety of outlets such as housingsearch.az.gov, the local newspaper, online rental sites, and other community outlets, including neighbors and friends.
