Tip 1: Beat the heat at your local library!
From June 1 through August 1, 2025, kids, teens, and adults can sign up for the Maricopa County Reads summer program! Reading for 20 minutes a day helps build a strong lifelong reading habits and is fundamental for developing literacy skills. Join today!
Tip 2: Start asking questions!
Put on your thinking cap and try finding the answer to these questions:
- Why is water important?
- How do we use water?
- What is the water cycle, and how does it work?
- Where does our water come from?
- How do we protect our water?
- How do we save water for the future?
Tip 3: Read, research, and talk to trusted adults about water.
You can find books about water for free at your local Phoenix library branch. You can even sign up for the Phoenix Library's Summer Reading Program here.
