Curbside Green Organics

Tan yard waste container in front of a house.

This program provides a tan container for your yard waste, such as grass clippings, twigs, branches and shrubs. This program is perfect for households that have weekly landscaping maintenance and/or large properties. The additional monthly fee for the Green Organics Collection program will be $5 a month per tan container requested.

Green Organics Guidelines:

  • To ensure timely collection, containers must be placed curbside before 5:30 a.m. the day of pick up.
  • All containers must be 4 feet apart.
  • City code requires residents to have lids on solid waste containers secured to prevent rain, insects and blowing of garbage or recyclable materials throughout your neighborhood.

Eligible Areas

The Green Organics Curbside Collection program is offered to residents in eligible areas. Residents with both curbside and alley trash collection are eligible to participate. Find out if your household is part of the Green Organics eligible area by typing your address in the map below.
